Attempting to have seattle federal judge Robart's country-wide order halting Trump's immigration ban, the White House appealed to the 9th Circuit court for immediate reinstatement -- only to be turned down.

Two judges on the US Circuit Court of Appeals -- 9th District, William C. Canby, Jr., appointed by Jimmy Carter and Judge Michelle Taryn, appointed by Barack Obama, instead set an accelerated review to begin Monday, inviting briefs challenging the law to be submitted by midnight tonight PST and the Justice Department, the ban, to respond to them by 3:00 PM PST.

In their demand for immediate reinstatement, the Justice Department argued, “Judicial second-guessing of the President’s determination that a temporary suspension of entry of certain classes of aliens was necessary at this time to protect national security would constitute an impermissible intrusion on the political branches’ plenary constitutional authority over foreign affairs, national security, and immigration."

Because of the accelerated review, the Justice Department is delaying further action to overturn the hold until after the 9th Circuit rules.

Meanwhile, in Florda, Trmp renewed his unprecidented attack on Judge Robarts, tweeting, “The opinion of this so-called judge, which essentially takes law-enforcement away from our country, is ridiculous and will be overturned!”

Senator Patrick Leahy of Vermont responded to Trump's tweet attacks in a statement, saying, "The president's hostility toward the rule of law is not just embarrassing, it is dangerous."

Until the 9th Circuit rules, all immigrants with legal visas are being allowed in the country, with many urging those in Iran, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Sudan. Somalia, and Yemen to come now, before the ban can be reinstated.
