Following the ruling by Judge Robart, the State Department has reinstated 60,000 visas for immigrants affected by Trump's immigrant ban.
According to The Daily Beast, a statement from the state Department said, "We have reversed the provisional revocation of visas," an official statement from the State Department read. "Those individuals with visas that were not physically canceled may now travel if the visa is otherwise valid."
The Department of Homeland Security has also issued a press release following Robart's suspension of the ban stating they have suspended all implimentation of the immigration ban, The Daily Beast also reports.
"This includes actions to suspend passenger system rules that flag travelers for operational action ... DHS personnel will resume inspection of travelers in accordance with standard policy and procedure."
These changes herald a tremendous failure for the new Trump administration. Expect pushback.
