According to NBC News affiliate KFOR, today a federal judge in Jupiter Flordia order the president's golf course there to pay former members $5.7M.
KFOR reported that the judge ruled in favor of the 65 former members participating in the class action suit because, when Trump bought in the club in 2012, he changed the rules of membership, ousting them and changing their "resigned" and "refundable" status.
In a comment telling of the current conflict of interest the president has, the report stated, "President Trump and the Trump organization couldn’t be reached for comment."
The report added that Trump is currently suing the town of Ossining, NY to lower the tax burden on his golf course there. According to the town, his golf course is valued at $15.1M. Trump claims it to be worth only $1.5M.
