A member of the Michigan GOP called for "Another Kent State" to stop college protests by students.
In two separate tweets, Dan Adamini, the forerm chair and current secretary of the Marquette County Repbulican Party, and talk show radio host tweeted: The violent protests at our universities certainly indicate Portage acacian* at the lower level. I'm thrinking another Kent State might be the only solution protest stopped after only one death. They do it because they know there are no consequences yet."
And, "Violent protesters who shut down free speech? Time for another Kent State perhaps. One bullet stops a lot of thuggery."
In 1970, members of the Ohio National Guard fired on unarmed Kent State University students protesting the U.S. incursion into Cambodia. Guardsmen killed four students and wounded nine, including one who was paralyzed for life.
To suggest the killing of one unarmed student to stop protests simply because you don't agree with the protesters is tantamount to suggesting cold blooded murder.
Adamini's tweets came Thursday morning following the Wednesday night Berkeley protest against invited speaker and white supremacist, Milo Yiannopoulo turned violent.
SPEAK OUT AGAINST THIS DANGEROUS, VIOLENCE-INCITING SPEECH
Adamini hosts "In the Right Mind" carried by Sovereign Communications at 906-225-1313. (Please do not contact radio station WKQS, they stopped carrying his show in 2014).
As he used his radio twitter account for one of the tweets, complaints can also be lodged with the FCC: https://consumercomplaints.fcc.gov/hc/en-us.
*According to Adamini, "Portage acacian" mean "poor education."
